Represent your interests
Evaluate partners, proposals, contracts, roadmaps, and risks from the client’s point of view.
Matt is a trusted advisor for founders, owners, and executives facing consequential technology decisions. He represents your interests—independent of the vendors, platforms, and teams asking for your trust.
Technology relationships are rarely balanced. Vendors know their products. Development teams know their architecture. Investors know their priorities. Leaders are still expected to reconcile every claim and make the final call.
Matt becomes your representative in that room. He connects business objectives to technical reality, challenges assumptions without creating needless friction, and makes sure decisions serve your organization—not someone else’s sales target or preferred stack.
Evaluate partners, proposals, contracts, roadmaps, and risks from the client’s point of view.
Translate technical detail into clear choices, consequences, priorities, and accountable next steps.
Help align people, process, vendors, and leadership so strategy survives contact with the real world.
Matt has spent more than three decades building companies, advising leaders, rescuing difficult initiatives, and turning technology into measurable business value.
Matt bootstrapped his first company from the ground up to $50 million in cumulative revenue, reaching approximately $10 million in peak annual sales. Switchfast earned eight consecutive Inc. 5000 appearances before its eventual sale to Ascend Technologies.
MeetBall pioneered location-finding for sports and events and was sold in 2017. Matt’s work expanded across NASCAR, Minor League Baseball, MLB, MLS, and the NFL; the technology story continued through what is now Wicket.
Working with Wicket and Haslam Sports Group, Matt helped launch first-of-its-kind AI technology for fans of the Cleveland Browns and Columbus Crew. The work brought facial authentication into the live-event experience, creating a faster, more seamless way for fans to enter and engage with the venue.
Matt advises leaders on AI, software, product strategy, operations, growth, and technical execution—bringing an operator’s urgency and an owner’s understanding of risk.
Engagements are shaped around the decision, risk, or obstacle in front of you. Matt can advise the leader, work alongside an internal team, or represent the organization with outside partners.
